As for the educational perspective, this could lead to similiar effects as we 
have seen with Unix/Linux. In the longer run, this could potentially replace 
the old x86 architecture in many areas.

Interestingly, the stock market reacted extremely on this news. While the 
S&P500 tumbled by 2.5%, Sun's quote jumped up at a wopping 282% today.
