I have visions of "unsafe at any speed" with Linus driving a bare 50's
Dodge chassis with a row of titanium spikes on the dashboard and safety
belts made from piano wire.

Not quite what he had in mind, but an amusing image none the less.

A funky engine (kernel) is grand, but some of us want air conditioning
and comfy (fluffy) seats to sit in when we drive long distances.
