I have had caller ID at home for almost as long as it's been enabled
on Oz telephone exchanges.

In that time I have observed that the vast majority of telephone
spammers have their ID disabled. This angers me enough that I pretty
well don't answer the phone at all if there's no caller ID.

Of course this means that I miss all the calls from my Mum, but that's
the price I pay.

{I hope Mum's not on the CLUG list. ;-)  }
