I would run md5sum and check the file you downloaded has the same checksum
as the source. Could be a damaged download.

Hello,

I posted the request for help yesterday about installing linux. Well now I
have successfully downloaded the iso, but when I try to install it a message
pops up which reads:

"the disk image you are about to open might be damaged and could damage your
computer"

What should I do?
