Little tangible return perhaps. I'd imagine the convention/demo/show
money comes from the marketing budget, and people don't spend billions
of dollars on marketing because it doesn't work. E3 might not be the
best example, but I'd say overall that demos and such are a pretty good
investment.

I don't know that it really would be only that expensive, but then again
I don't really know what their E3 budget is. And from their point of
view the risk/reward ratio is pretty poor.
