L&H Mitchell have very friendly staff. If you're buying a bit you
should be able to get prices matched on better gear, eg. 24 port Cabac
patch panels cheaper thanTurk's generic panels (on special!), 300m
Krone cable for around the same price as the generic on special at
Turks.

They have the best prices in the ACT (almost 50% cheaper than the
closest competitor) for the C10-100E central splitter/filters, if
you're trying to increase your ADSL2+ synch speed & stabilty (These
filters require an ACA licenced cabler to be legally installed). You
might need to ask them to order them in.

I've bought a fair bit a Turk's, but even with a Trade Card, their
pricing is no-where near as good as L&H for 90% of things. Their patch
cables are the only thing that is cheaper at trade prices, but I
wasn't pushing L&H too hard...

I don't know what the L&H / Hagemeyer store in Fyshwick is like.

There's another Data/Electrical wholesaler down the road from L&H
Mitchell, but their range isn't as good - their patch leads were very
cheap, albeit rather garden variety.
