Much as I would like to recommend Qtparted, I have never had any luck with  
it, in fact I tried to resize a partition with it recently and it failed.
Cfdisk is a curses based partitioner which works quite well, but it  
doesn't re-size partitions.
The best partitioner comes with any Mandrake disk newer than version 9.0;  
just go through the motions as if you were installing, select manual  
partitioning and when everything is done, shut down.
