[clug] xmodmap trickery

Being an avid vim'ster i've finally remapped the escape key to the
Tab key, and tab key to caps-lock, with this .xmodmaprc file:

clear Lock
keycode 66  = Tab
keycode 9  = Caps_Lock
keycode 23  = Escape

And i run "xmodmap .xmodmaprc".

Works well, except when i need alt-tab to switch windows: i still need
to use the old tab key for that.

Does anyone understand xmodmap enough to suggest a solution ?
