If you've recently installed a new kernel and haven't rebooted yet, now
would be the time to do so. If Mandrake has the kernel modules packaged
separately from the kernel itself, make sure you have matched versions
of both.

Otherwise you can try 'depmod -a' to see if your module dependencies are
out of date somehow.
