[clug] no reception with a new Twinhan USB2.0 DVB-T receiver

Leo Kliger lkliger at bigpond.net.au

Hi,

I just got a new Twinhan USB2.0 DVB-T receiver and don't seem to be
getting any effective reception through it - while my Avermedia DVB-T
771 cards happily receive through the very same cable.

Is anybody using these USB devices with success?

If so I was hoping to compare kernel revisions and lspci, lsmod dmesg
output.
Mine are attached below.

BTW - I downloaded "dvb-usb-vp7045-01.fw" from
http://www.linuxtv.org/download/firmware/ and place the file
into /lib/firmware

Thanks,

Leo
