Even if it's pouring with rain?

The big day has arrived, and the Bureau of Meteorology says:

So it's probably going to be raining at some intensity between light
isolated showers and a torrential downpour. Skin's mostly waterproof
(barring osmosis) and I'm happy to ride in wet weather as long as the
winds are less than a Category 5 hurricane. On which subject the Bureau
says:

Will anyone else turn up or should I stay warm and dry at home?

Are the CLUG cyclists wimps or hardcore?
