It's a 2.8 version. I'm not using it, so if you want to borrow it (and take
a peek at what I did to get it working kernel and driver wise), let me know.

Out of curiosity, what model number is your WUSB11 dongle?  There's a
sticker on the back with the version number.  Mine is WUSB11v4 for which
I have a looming feeling that it isn't supported under Linux natively or
using ndiswrapper.
