[clug] Thunderbird IMAP subscriptions

I've just had to blow away my Thunderbird profile (don't ask), and now I
can find a way to get Thunderbird 1.0.6 to automatically subscribe to
new folders when they appear in an IMAP account.

Googling doesn't find me anything.

Any hints please?
