[clug] interesting work experience for school

Hi list.

A compulsory unit in year ten high school mandates that I go out for one week 
during the normal school year to a work place environment, helping with 
whatever the job is, and basically learning as much as I can. I don't get 
anything for this, it's for the experience.

We have a rather big catalog at school with workplace listings, that have been 
approved (safety and such) and are available to students to choose from. I've 
been through that thing a few times now, and there isn't anything that really 
interests me - most are either listed in the car/mechanics industry whilst 
the other large categories are the defense forces and the food industry.

I wanted to do something IT based, and preferably Linux based. Would any of 
you guys by any chance know of some places that would accept work experience 
students whose work environments include the usage of Linux?
