Transact phone is POTS. (Not VoIP, not over Ethernet.) Just a different set
of wires than Telstra's.

They put in a set of phone lines along with the HDSL to make it more of a
worthwhile investment for them to do the installation.

They lay their phone line network along the power poles, as one of the
joint-venture partners is the local power outfit.
