The Revenge of the Sith - Fund-raising screening
You can be amongst the first in Canberra see the movie, while saving
yourself some money, possibly winning a prize and helping Crossroads in the
process.
Details below:
What: Screening of Star Wars Episode III - The Revenge of the Sith
Why: Fund-raiser for the Crossroads Medieval Village Co-operative,
to improve the Festival site
When: Thursday 19 May 2005 (opening night even!)
Time: 6.15 pm for 6.45 pm screening
Where: Greater Union, Manuka
Cost: $13 per ticket movie only, $16 movie and drink, $20 movie
popcorn and drink (pre-paid)

Prizes: Donated by Logical Choice and Greater Union
Greater Union have also kindly allowed us to offer two great candy bar
deals, available just for this screening. You can buy a voucher for the
combos either when you pre-pay your tickets or on the day.
1. Maxi deal: Maxi Popcorn & Maxi Drink for just $7 pre-paid or $8 on
the day (normally $9.10)
2. Drink deal: Maxi Drink for just $3 pre-paid or $3.50 on the day
(normally $3.80)
Note: Crossroads Medieval Village Co-operative is a non profit
organisation that plans to build an ecologically sustainable medieval
village, on a property near Yass, that will foster traditional crafts
and skills. When complete, Crossroads will provide craft workshops and
camping facilities for community groups, artisans and the public. One
of the groups that use the site, for an annual medieval Festival, is the
Society for Creative Anachronism (SCA), a non-profit medieval and
renaissance re-creation group which attempts to re-create the
atmosphere, crafts, society and culture of the period 600 AD to 1600 AD,
as it should have been.
