G'Day,

I have further narrowed this down:

- The keyboard is non responsive for that particular user
- ie. Press letter "a" and nothing happens (in Kate) hold down letter "a" and
eventually letter a appears and starts repeating
- I have checked the keyboard settings for that user and they are the same as
the users for whom the keyboard works

G'Day,

- This keeps getting stranger
- If I login as another user (not root, not the broken normal user) then it all
works as expected
- So the problem is specific to that user

Subject: [clug] KDE Keyboard Wierdness...

G'Day,

- Have just installed Fedora Core 4 with KDE 3.4
- Logging in as an existing user on the box via the KDE login the keyboard
works. But as soon as I am in KDE the keyboard stops working (ie I select run
command and cannot type a thing)
- Logging in as root on the same box works

This was all working (after the initial install I think) and may have stopped
working after I ran "yum update". Has anyone got any suggestions or pointers?

TIA
