Though to be honest, SSTT can affect anyone who has a service support  
contract with an external organisation... RedHat comes to mind. The  
best way to remove dependence on service support is to have the know- 
how inhouse. Outsourcing  is great when it's load your outsourcing,  
not knowledge.
