[clug] Ubuntu Live CD and stored settings

Hi

I'm trying out the Ubuntu Live CD and want to be able to keep system
configuration data and my home directory on a USB pen drive.  Can
anyone tell me how to do this with Ubuntu?  Apparently Knoppix is
capable of it.
