I hadn't heard of them, but was looking for a laptop too. I specifically
wanted a Turion, and have settled on their Dreambook 8350. I'll let you
know how it goes.

PS: Brisbane has too many storms and power blackouts, and the
heat/humidity combination is oppressive. I remember Canberra's dry heat
with some longing (although I have to admit to wondering if Tassie would
be nicer than them both!). No tornadoes here - that I've seen yet -
though.
