Hi all,

I have a cron job that uses rsync over ssh to back up a Samba server.

The job seems to hang a lot of the time during office hours, a lot
less out of hours. My assumption was file locking, but the files it
stops on don't seem to be ones that anyone is using. If I kill the
process, it usually works the second or third time, and I can tar the
whole lot to /dev/null/ with no dramas.

Any ideas for further investigation?

Antti
