Ok, well maybe I was a bit over-zealous (and under-researched) with that
comment. I do know that many Uni's in Oz with Comp. Sci. courses do have
Linux labs. We have had some for at least 7 years now (I operated the
Digital and Microprocessors lab at Dept. of Engineering here at ANU for
many years and it was all Linux from about 1996, from memory).
