[clug] X Server XDMCP Problem....

Hi Andrew,

Not sure if this will be the answer, but the very last line in the
xdm-config file needs to be commented out by placing a `!` in front of it.
<snip>
!DisplayManager.requestPort:    0
</snip>

This stops the xdmcp server from serving only to the local display 0.

HTH

All the best

Michael Manning

Thanks, but correct not what I really want to do. I can already do ssh -X
box and then startkde. But I really would like to get XDMCP working if
possible. I also don't use CygWinX but rather WinAxe as the performance is
better

This isn't going to help directly, but I've had success using the Cygwin X
server (as opposed to WinaXe), going "X -query box"
