the following machine (formerly known as "Wasabi", and was the AP+ front
end) is available free, so long as you pick it all and take all the bits
(including the monitor).

Wasabi
- SPARCStation 5 (70 MHz microSPARC-II apparently) (sun4m)
- 32MB RAM
- SBUS expansion box
- external SCSI hard disk enclosure
- type 4 sun keyboard, & sun 3-button optical mouse and mat
- sun 20D10 (20" sony monitor!) monitor (dodgy, works better after about
10 minutes)
- disks (both have been erased): seagate 8.46 GB (= 9 GB?), sun 1 GB.
- magnum TP1 network transceiver for 10BASE-T ethernet (the
SPARCStation5 has a 10BASE-T ethernet port, but this should enable you
to have two ports)

pick up from DCS, ANU.

tridge expressed some interest, but didn't hang around to take it away.
first to get here and take it away wins.

cheers,
