[clug] Some mail messages never get delivered...

G’Day,
- I have imapd 1.5.19-9.1 installed on a Debian system. All my mail
is stored on the IMAP server and I use Outlook 2002 and Thunderbird on my
work and home machine’s interchangeably to manage my mail. I have suspected
that *some* messages that people have sent to me never actually make it into
the mail client. When I had a look on the Debian box today (after Outlook
AND Thunderbird) claim there are no messages for me that there are a heap of
seemingly “stale” messages there (and yes those Oct 6 messages are not seen
by the mail clients). [See listing that appears at the end of this message.]
So seemingly the indexes on the server are messed up or something else is
going on. So my questions are as follows:
1. Is this a known bug
2. How do I prevent this happening? Is there anything I can do on the server
or is there something to be done in Outlook / Tunderbird?
