personally i use a NeuraNet.
 . awesome memory capacity (unknown but well over 10^20 bits)
 . portable hypersupercomputer (potentially somewhere around 10^25 flops)
 . self-upgrading firmware-based operating system
 . highly resilient self-repairing architecture
 . requires no cable for recharge
 . analog input and output, often in mysterious format
 . performance extremely variable and subject to environmental factors
 . not particularly compact: weight around 1.5kg
 . frequently ignores task at hand and demands rest/energy/entertainment

i should probably get an iPod instead.
