[clug] [Job] ISP System/Network Admin - Canberra

We have a job available for a system/network admin. Full time preferred, but
part time considered.


Skills Areas: 
        + Good Linux Sysadmin Skills (RedHat, Debian, etc).

        + Network Admin skills. Good understanding of principles of TCP etc
and experience managing a network. Some Cisco skills an advantage.

        + ISP Services - Mail Servers (Sendmail), Web
servers (Apache), POP/IMAP Servers, DNS Servers (Bind 9), Radius skills

        + Scripting Skills - Perl, Shell, PHP, C etc - Any one or
more of these would be advantageous.

        + ISP Hardware - Routers, NAS and such.

        + Security knowledge - IPTables, Firewall concepts, etc. Also anti
virus and anti spam software.


Other Attributes: 
        + ISP experience and familiarity with the ISP industry

        + Ability to carry out tasks un-supervised

        + Time Management and Project Management skills - you MUST be
organised. 

        + Helpdesk support skills

        + Documentation skills


        It is essential that all of the above areas are at least covered in
some manner.  The applicant need not be an expert in all the above areas,
but should have at a reasonable level of familiarity with most of them and
be willing to learn.


        Remuneration will be based on skill and experience.
