For those not on the AUUG list. This should be of interest to CLUG
members.

Pia,

thanks muchly for your current and past support! We'll work hard to earn
your future support too. ;-)

We encourage all IT businesses and consultants who work with Linux/free
software to become members of Linux Australia, to gain the best benefits
the technical realm and the community have to offer.

If your interests are in the broader open source and open systems space
and you are a technical professional, then we recommend you consider
joining the AUUG.

It's clear that in the absence of a single dominant 'vendor' pushing the
FOSS platform forward, it's left up to us and our groups to carry the
message to all areas of IT, industry, government and the broader community
in Australia.

Our groups share many of the same core members, and because of this, I
believe we are well placed to move in a purposeful and concerted manner,
covering all the areas necessary to make FOSS the platform of the coming
decade.

Thanks again!
