If anyone is interested, the following steps below will disable the
framebuffer support:

1.  just type as root:

dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xfree86

and remove the option when it asks you about framebuffer.

2.  edit the file:

/etc/X11/XF86Config-4

and remove the line that mentions fb or framebuffer like this one:

Option     "UseFBDev"  true
