The other thing to look at is hosting a secondary MX record on a site which is 
a little more stable, or not likely to update at exactly the same time as the 
dynamic IP site.

Then if delivery fails on the first site, then it should fall back to the next 
lowest MX record and attempt the second. 

Same for stateful web browsing using source IP addresses or something like 
that, if a session goes across IP changes then there could be issues.

Like most things, this is not designed for heavy duty resillance, but rather a 
quick hack to make it 'almost' appear to work like the big boys.

If one is really doing heave work, then you should get the correct tools.
