[clug] Xandros Networks service not running

I'm using Xandros Desktop v2.

When attempting to run Xandros Networks I get the message "Xandros
Networks service is not running on this host." Xandros Networks then
quits. 

It was working a few days ago. What's broken? What should be running?  I
presume that a daemon needs to be running.
