Hi,

When I was at linux.conf I went to one of the BOFs "AutoFS" run by Tim Hockin of sun (thockin[at]sun.com).  They're working on putting some of sun's autofs stuff into linux.  (My words, I hope I said that the right way).

I said I was interested in cachefs being in linux and he said they might think about it if enough people expressed an interest.  I know there are a few people on the list who would be interested in this so perhaps you might like to discuss.
