[clug] Free SMS notifications

Has anyone managed to get messages sent from their system to their mobile
phone for free?
 
I got this going http://www.nick-andrew.net/projects/sms-notify/ on my phone
(AAPT = Vodafone) but unfortunately it uses ICQ which presently only works
for the Vodafone network and I need some Telstra guys to receive the messaes
too...
 
>From what I read on whirlpool this sms.ac thing going round is a scam and
shouldn't be used for anything.
 
Any ideas?
