Lucky you! The drive in my 12" Powerbook is RPC2, but libdvdcss can't 
help because the drive doesn't send raw data - or something like that, 
I can't remember the specifics. This means that VLC will happily play 
DVDs from regions other than the one my drive is locked to, but only if 
they are not encrypted with CSS. *sigh*
