Subject: [clug] Free networking gear

Dear list,

Today I discovered a big pile of networking gear, such as 24 port
10base-T switches etc, some 10base-FL stuff, you know the drill. What
would came come out of a networking rack or two (or twenty).

No kidding, the pile is a couple of metres tall by maybe three metres
long. Under cover.

I enquired and found out that the gear is owned by ANUGreen who will
stockpile it until they get around to auctioning it. I am allowed to
take a couple of switches for private use if I wish.

So if there's any people who will actually use some of this stuff I can
grab and bring to the next CLUG. I probably only need a single 24-port
switch for a project at work.

Darren
