Hi

Can anyone point me in the direction of a description of how Linux sets its
partitions etc at the sector level in the ext2/3 filesystem. I came across
an interesting bug/feature where the partition table reported some number of
sectors but when performing a dd copy of that partition I ended up with one
less sector in the image. I am trying to figure out what that means in the
scale of things :)
