D,
When I priced around I found
http://www.thunderbirdcomputing.com.au/prices.php?do=miniitx to be very
competitive and helpful albeit in Queensland. This is where I ended up
buying from as well. I found Kurt Mirow (kurt at thunderbirdcomputing.com.au)
to be heaps helpful and informative.
I plan to run WindowsXP on the box I have just put together for my home
theatre, but am also now looking at a couple of the lower end boards as a
gateway/router and box for my wife so I would be interested in peoples
experiences running Linux on them.

Subject: Mini-ITX systems and Linux
Hey there,
I'm looking into building some small multi-media and small business
servers from mini-ITX systems. Has anyone had experience in particular
running Linux on the Via EPIA motherboards with on board CPU's?
I'm pretty sure there was some mention of these at CLUG a while back. If
anyone does know anything about these machines would they also let me
know the best places to get pricing for them (both pre-built systems and
components). I've found a few places that sell what I'm after (Cougar
Computers, Everything Linux, etc) but hoping to get some recommendations
from others.
Cheers
Daniel
