I like talks too, and am hopeless at games, but I'd hate for some aspects of 
Linux to be considered (or even implied) as off limits.

How about:
1. Simon's talk about sound/music generation, with demo
[Order pizza]
2. David's talk about bzflag, with demo.
[pizza arrives - go upstairs]
3. We eat pizza / play bzflag / make music as mood takes us.
