Has anyone got a network that has at least two machines running Mac OS 10.2? I
want to do some work on an iChat type client for Linux, but I only have one
iMac on my home network.
I'd like a capture of the network traffic as the iChat application starts up
on each machine, the applications discover each other, exchange a few
messages (you'd need to type on each machine about this point:), and then
close the conversation down. Note: I'm looking for use of the "rendezvous"
peer-to-peer mode, not iChat as an AIM client.
If anyone can do this (or let me plug my laptop with ethereal into their
network :), I'd be most appreciative. Heck, I'll buy your pizza at Feb CLUG.
