Be aware that most Dell laptops use shared memory for the video, which
may or may not concern you.

And don't forget the smooth lines with no corners or things to get
tangled up in backpacks! If you've read even one marketing blurb about
the G4 PowerBook, it must have mentioned the smooth lines at least
twice ;) I wouldn't call the processor "slow" when you can edit movies
and burn them to DVD on the spot. Sure, you won't be able to recompile
the Linux PPC kernel inside 8 minutes, but is that really important?
