So,

I've apt-get installed festival on my Debian unstable box. Sound works on this
box, with OSS as a module, and support for my cs4281.

Anyways, I go:

echo "hello" | festival --tts

And it blocks. No sound is produced. Is there something obvious I am missing, or
a different package people tend to use for this sort of stuff?
