modules by way of a system that invokes a python interpreter and calls the python routines with that. Not terribly fast, but suddenly the list of available ruby modules got a lot bigger. I haven't played with ruby in ages though - there's bigger ruby advocates on this list than I am. Most of the novel things ruby had like iterators are now in python. -- Damien Elmes
