[clug] OT: End of TransACT?

OK, this is slightly OT, but just read an article about Comindico and how
AGL is writing down its investment. This basically means the beginning of
the end for Comindico. (See
<http://australianit.news.com.au/articles/0,7204,7027237%5E15306%5E%5Enbv%5E,00.html>).

However, what made the article really interesting was the last paragraph
and a comment from Mr Stuckey the current CEO. He stated that Comindico
was part of the past, not of the future and that also included TransACT.

So does this mean ActewAGL are pulling the plug on TransACT, or just
winding down their involvement with it and want to get rid of it? With
the current WebOne/iiNet debarcle, I know a few people have jumped ship to
ActewAGL's ISP, and that ISP could possibly be shakey now (why keep the
ISP around if you are going to pull the plug on TransACT?). Oh so
interesting times ahead.....
