Depends on what you want. For a fast moving target like Linux development, 
you're normally better off using an online source (eg LinMagAu or 
http://www.lwn.net). A LWN subscription is probably the cheapest available 
magazine!

Linux Journal is good, but expensive. I certainly wouldn't buy every issue if 
I had to pay for them. Some technical content that is hard to get elsewhere. 

If you're beginning, the UK Linux Magazine is pretty reasonable in terms of 
content, but also expensive. I maybe get one in three issues.

The US Linux Magazine appears to be less popular, although it occasionally has 
a gem. I haven't bought a copy for a long time though.

I'll bring some along to the next CLUG if I'm there.
