Yes, we are investigating having an installfest during Tertiary Open Day on
Saturday 23 August. CIT at Reid is open all day then and the small number of
us who teach linux based subjects here are planning to hold a limited
installfest during that time. 

We held a similar installfest last semester, primarily for our students,
which resulted in around 30 installations being done.

I will quickly confer with the Powers That Be and see if it is worth looking
at clug and CIT doing something together on the day. 

It will be a good day for it as we a) have labs, b) have servers to do
network installs c) will be a fun day with lots of sausage sizzles, bands
etc on campus.
