Linux installation problem

HI
One guy told me what to do to make a boot disk and
that worked.(thank you).Now I have another problem.I
was almost half way through the installation but when
it asked me where are the data to be insatalled and I
chose the cdrom drive.What happened was that it
couldn't find my cdrom drive and it said there is no
cd in the cdrom drive.
Does anyone have any idea?
