Depends on the level of service one claims to provide, I suppose.

If someone was doing this more than a handful of times and as a professional
service, I'd expect that they'd have worked out a methodology that helps
prevent the more common mistakes. It doesn't need to be fancy; a checklist
supplied to the user would go a long way. There'll always be unexpected
mistakes, of course, but every little bit helps and the mistakes can be
incorporated into the next checklist.

If someone was doing it just to help out a friend, well no.
