Michael,

I've just spoken to someone at TransACT about the WebTalk option, and 
according to them it still goes through a Set-Top-Box, it just has the TV 
part disabled.

I'm glad to hear that the Marconi Flex modem is reliable, as we have just got 
one at work.  I will look into the cost of switching over, but at the moment 
I probably can't quite justify what I perceive as the extra cost.  OTOH, if 
my STB does not become more reliable soon...
