has your STB had the new software uploaded into it: i.e., does it tell
the time on the front? if not then they'll probably upload the new
software first. the TV part of my STB died on saturday[1], and they
"forgot" my fault call; but when i rang this morning they uploaded the
new software and now it's working again. however, my internet
connection through the STB was never having any trouble even when the TV
part of the STB refused to work, so perhaps you have a different problem
than i had.

[1] apparently "quite a few" STB's died after the initial uploading of
the new software.
