During the install, you had to specify the "root password" (twice). So the 
username is root, and the password is whatever you entered.

At the same stage, you also got the chance to "create normal users", so you 
can also use the username and password you created then.

There is a way to fix it (using /bin/bash as init), but it is pretty horrible, 
and may not work. So if you can't remember the password you just entered, 
you'll likely need to re-install.
